The Challenge

September 2015 brought one of the hardest and craziest triathlons ever seen. AllShapeUp Director James Hesling pushed his mental and physical limits to the edge raising £2,500 for Help for Heroes by completing a 12 consecutive day triathlon!

“I love a challenge, but most importantly I love exploring my limits and one thing was certain, I definitely explored them! I have enormous respect for Help for Heroes, the work they do for our servicemen and women is fantastic and being in the Armed Forces myself, I didn’t need anymore reason to work with them. After the success of 5in5 I new I wanted to test myself further incorporating more than just my strength – running. I’d never really cycled or swam before which inspired me to try something new, something even crazier.

The Running Man

Sport Relief 2014 presented the first true test of physical and mental strength for AllShapeUp Director James Hesling. Successfully running 5 marathons in 5 consecutive days for the Charity Sport Relief and raising £2,500 in the process. Here’s an insight of how and why!

“I’ve always had the belief that it’s important to give back in life. However big or small, we should all contribute in some way to make the world a better place. I’d been a part of several charity events over the years, and as my interest in developing mental strength grew alongside a desire to test myself physically, 5in5 proved to be more than the test I required!
